The American Golden Topaz, apart from being the largest yellow topaz in the world at a whopping 22.892.5 carats, is also one of the largest faceted gems in the world.
Originally mined in Brazil, this stone took two years to cut
and has a total of 172 facets.

Historically, the ancient Greeks believed Topaz to increase both physical and mental strength, as such. it was also worn as a talisman.
The ancient Egyptians also held similar beliefs, and used golden topaz to make amulets for protection and security.
Care and Cleaning
While Citrine and Topaz are fairly stable gemstones, they can still be damaged by heat. The use of chemical of ultrasonic cleaners are also not recommended.
Simply clean with warm soapy water, rinse and polish.
